Why College Pro Painters?

Hi. My name is Charlie Ober and I have recently become a franchise manager at College Pro Painters in Waltham, Massachusetts. College Pro Painters is giving me the great opportunity to run my own small painting business with all the support and reputation of a large company.

I studied Business Management at Northeastern University in Boston, and College Pro Painters is an opportunity for me to apply what I have learned. It will be a chance for me to get involved in something where my success or failure is determined entirely on my skills and decisions.

Many past franchise managers have gained the necessary experience to go out on their own and either get placed in challenging, rewarding positions in excellent companies or create their own businesses. I have spent the last several years working in large companies where I have had little responsibility and little personal development. I decided on College Pro Painters because I will be able to learn more about myself and abilities and I will have to be responsible for running a successful business. I hope to take my past experiences and help develop the individuals that I hire and help them to reach their own personal goals. College Pro Painters is not just about painting, it is about personal development.

I will be working in Waltham, Massachusetts and will gain valuable leadership experience while training and managing my painting crews and I hope to come away from this with the knowledge to plan and run a business of my own. I will be able to take away these skills and use me in my future endeavors.
